“(F/n)-chan..” Shiro called out, pawing at your leg as you sat down on a brick wall. With a whip in hand, your job was to oversee minions, making sure they were doing their job, which was to torture humans.
“Yes, Shiro?” You faced him with a stoic visage, only for your expression to brighten with a wide smile. Placing the whip to your side, you picked the white shiba up and placed him in your lap, rubbing your fingers behind his ears. Shiro thoroughly enjoyed your company, mainly because you always gave him snacks and belly rubs.
“So , like.. you know how Mister Hoozuki doesn’t like to be disturbed when he’s sleeping…”
“Mmhhmm..”
“I was just wondering, since you two are dating and share a room… how do you not wake him up? One time I accidentally woke him up and he was so scary! I thought he was going to kill me!” You could only giggle at the silly canine, yes, it was true, Hoozuki hated to be disturbed from his slumber. You heard of tales that went terribly wrong for the people awaking him. Even you accidentally awoke him the first time you slept with him. It was a complete accident, but strangely, Hoozuki never did anything bad like in the stories you heard. Quite similar to Shiro’s experience actually.
“Well you see Shiro…”
Hoozuki brought you to his room, you both had worked exhausting shifts and the two of you just so happened to have the next day off. He didn’t want you walking all the way back to your room in your tired state, since his room was closest, he invited you to stay over. So that’s exactly what happened. Hoozuki gave you one of his yukata’s to change into, since you didn’t have an extra pair of sleepwear, from there on it was a normal situation. Get into bed, nuzzle against your partner and fall asleep. It wasn’t until the morning, that shit hit the fan.
“I have the cutest partner..” You whispered to yourself in the dark room with a smile on your face. Hoozuki’s facial expression whilst he slept was so sweet and downright adorable. His black hair was all messed up, sprouting in all different directions. His plump lips were slightly agape with his little fangs showing through. Due to him being nuzzled up against your chest, it was the perfect opportunity to cuddle him by wrapping your arms around his shoulders; ultimately his face pressed further into your bosom.
He slept soundly like that for a while, your fingertips trailed through his messy hair and down to caress his cheek. After doing that a few times, Hoozuki awoke abruptly, his expression not so adorable and relaxed anymore. He looked like he was going to murder you as his bloodshot eyes stared up at you. It gave you a bit of a fright, not necessarily that you had awoken him, but the thoughts running through your head of what he might do to you for awaking him. So, there you were, nervous as a rabbit, staring at him apologetically. It only took him a few seconds to realize that it was you and his expression calmed down. Shutting his eyes again, he snuggled into your bosom and wrapped his arms around your waist.
“A-Ah.. Goodmorning, darling.” You said quietly, in response, he grumbled into your breast, then mumbled a simple word into them.
“Morning..”
“I’m sorry for awaking you.. I thought.. It might be comforting ..--”
“It’s fine.. It felt nice. Would it be weird to ask you to do it again?”
“N-Not at all!”
You both spent half of your day in bed, cuddling and being lazy. Hoozuki certainly deserved it, he was always working hard. The other half, Hoozuki brought you out to a nearby swimming hole to relax at…
“That’s cute!” Shiro pipped up at the end of your story, “You two are such a cute couple!”
“Awe, you’re very kind. I sure do love him. Y’know he actually falls asleep to me running my fingers through his hair now? And he actually awakes rather pleasantly when I caress him in the morning.”
“Oh wow!” He exclaimed, “Really? That’s amazing, I didn’t think anyone would be able to wake Mister Hoozuki up in a pleasant mood.”
“I’m always pleasant, Shiro.” A deep voice echoed out from behind the two. You jumped slightly and Shiro squealed in fear as he faced the stoic, seemingly heartless man.
“M-M-Mister Hoozuki!”
“Good evening darling!” You couldn’t help but giggle, Shiro was so afraid that he had made Hoozuki mad. “How long were you there?”
“Since the beginning of your story. It was quite touching to the heart… Anyways, I came here to relieve you of your duties for the day, Nasubi will be taking over, we are going on a picnic in Shangri-la.”
“Oh! What a pleasant surprise, thank you Nasubi.” You smiled down to the adorable little demon.
“No problem! It’s my pleasure Miss (F/n)!” He sang aloud as he saluted you, relieving you of your torturing duties of the day.
With a smile, you said your farewells to Nasubi and Shiro and walked off with Hoozuki; hand in hand to Shangri-la for a surprise picnic. Hoozuki had a reputation for being a sadistic, scary man here in Japanese Hell, but he was actually very sweet and kindhearted under that working man surface. You had the wonderful luxury of experiencing such a rare sight.
